Over the Memorial Day weekend we decided to check out Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens - Butterflies Live. There were over 100 species of vibrant butterflies flying around in the conservatory, one even landed on my arm...it was amazing!

Wonderful World of Amusement
Mother suggested that we take my brother (who is only 8 years old) and my 2 year old daughter to Kings Dominion and I gladly agreed. I love Kings Dominion...the rides, the funnel cakes, and the thrill of dropping 100+ feet down a roller coaster with my hands in the air!
My daughter takes a lot after me...my attitude - which I'm not too thrilled about ;-), my childhood love for Barbie, playing dress-up, and ROLLER COASTERS! She is fearless and wanted to ride the real thing, but instead she was summons to the kiddie rides. She was actually able to ride one kiddie coaster and she loved it! She even held her hands in the air, smiling the entire ride.
I can't wait until next year, because she will be my official "coaster partner in crime"...since she should be hitting the 46" height where she can ride a lot more rides with Mommy :-)
